Achol Jok Mach

Achol works on the implementation of the Sawa Shabab peacebuilding radio drama in South Sudan and in Kakuma refugee camp. She also contributes to the Lab’s work on countering hate speech in South Sudan and Kenya. Previously, she was a project manager for #defyhatenow and Radio La Benevolencija, both of which are based in South Sudan and use training, community engagement, and radio production to counter and raise awareness of the offline impact of online hate speech. Achol has a degree in Literature from the University of Alberta, Canada and speaks five languages.
