Kelly is a Specialist at the PeaceTech Lab. The Lab was created by United States Institute of Peace as a separate entity to further advance USIP's work at the intersection of technology, media and data to help reduce violent conflict around the world.
She started working at USIP in June 2013 after graduating with a M.A. in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University. Prior to joining USIP, she worked as an intern at NASA Headquarters for the History Program Office, where she gained experience in social media and writing for publications. Prior to that, she was a research assistant for the Georgetown University Conflict Resolution Program. As an undergraduate student, she spent a year as a supplemental instructor for Liberal Arts Mathematics. Her interests include social media, space technology and policy, physics, science diplomacy, technology and peacebuilding. Victor-French holds a B.A. in History from Florida Atlantic University.
